Essay Topic - A Dream Come True Or Nightmare?

Essay Topic - A Dream Come True Or Nightmare?Everyone wants to choose the best essay topic for college. The problem is, as you already know, the essay is where you can really shine and have a good shot at getting an A+. So how do you go about choosing the topic that's going to get you a grade of excellence?Well, just take a look at this outline of an essay, then you can see how an essay topic can be both a dream come true and a nightmare. They really are 2 very different beasts, and each has to be addressed by a different approach. This process requires you to not only figure out what your essay is going to be about, but also what it is going to need to cover in different things. You may want to consider how much information you need to add to it, so that it stays on topic. I know I like to have different 'chapters' in my outline so that I can still tackle more subjects. It helps to be able to jump around a bit, so that you can get some fresh angles. You can see that a true essay reall y does need to be on topic and a dream come true at the same time. You need to make sure that it's a well thought out, organized, and highly comprehensive account of yourself and your life. It should include your greatest achievements, your dreams, and your talents. When it comes to writing, we tend to do great strides in certain areas, and not at all in others. This is why you need to know what areas need attention, and which ones you can let go. Sure, you can throw in some general details here and there, but they will need to be tailored towards the intended audience. If you write an essay about your passion for golf, it's hard to expect someone to pay attention to your education and experiences in art, math, or the arts. After you've figured out the theme, you need to start looking at what questions your essay should have, and the appropriate questions to ask. Be careful not to over do it, or you'll end up getting too much information for your readers, and not enough for yourself. The audience should be able to relate to your essay, or the essay should be interesting enough that it engages them. The last thing you need to consider is the length of your essay. It doesn't matter if it's a hundred words or a thousand words, as long as it's well written. Of course, you should make sure you don't give away any information, but if you're going to play this game, you might as well get into it! Just make sure you don't have too much information crammed into your essays, because then you lose a lot of focus, and people won't feel that it's worth the time to read.Take the above advice, then you can begin to figure out how to choose the essay topic that's going to bring out the very best in you. The whole purpose of writing is to share with others, and you can do that, but you must keep your reader's attention.
